Tasting Room Staff (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

  Watertown, Connecticut

We are currently looking for Tasting Room Staff for our winery. This is a part-time position that requires employees to work weekends and nights, as required.

**Must be able to work Saturdays (1-9pm) and Sundays (1-6pm)**

Responsibilities:

- Greeting customers

- Providing descriptions of our different varieties of wine

- Pouring accurate amounts of wine for our tastings

- Placing food orders

- Maintaining a neat and orderly work environment

- Operating cash register with accuracy and efficiency

- Actively listens and accepts direction and guidance from management

- Other duties as required

Requirements:

- Strong customer service skills

- Prior experience serving customers (ex. waiter, bartender, etc.)

- Able to stand for long periods of time

- Reliable and punctual

- HS Diploma

About Us: Hawk Ridge Winery, part of Hidden Breeze Farm, is located in Watertown, Connecticut, a peaceful farm setting in which to enjoy friends, family, and fantastic wine. Hidden Breeze Farm has been in existence since January, 2012. We decided to name our winery after the abundance of red tail hawks on the property.
