Hartley & Parker Ltd. is among Connecticut’s most respected distributors of wine & spirits. We are currently looking for a Merchandiser to actively set up and maintain in-store merchandise throughout Connecticut. We are looking for a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision. You will be communicating extensively with company Salespeople and District Managers. This is a full-time salaried position with excellent benefits. A company vehicle is provided for company related business.
Responsibilities include the ability to gain and secure prime positioning of our products in retail establishments and assist with promotional initiatives to enhance store presentation and drive sales.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to work with minimal supervision (no direct supervision)
• Must live in the New London County Area
• Display organizational skills to maximize efficiency during store visits
• Be independent, self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
• Have attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Be a team player with the ability to effectively communicate
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Previous beverage company experience is a plus
