We are currently seeking a part time Tasting Room Associate to work in our tasting room Saturdays and Sundays. Our tasting room hours are Thursday through Sunday 11-5.
The Tasting Room Associate's primary responsibility is to greet and serve wine to guests with friendliness and enthusiasm, to converse with guests about the winery's history and wines, and to accept payment for wine sales.
Prior experience is not necessary, but the applicant must be willing to obtain a Washington wine server’s permit (MAST). This can be done online.
The applicant should have a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. We particularly welcome applicants that have a desire to learn more about the wine industry as well as those that possess a friendly, outgoing and professional attitude.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
21 years or older
Professional and friendly appearance
Courteous, positive and helpful attitude
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Willingness to learn
Able to lift 40+lbs and stand on their feet during their shift
Reliable transportation required
Experience in a wine related field, hospitality, or customer service preferred
Experience with retail or customer management software preferred
Compensation: $12 per hour to $15 per hour depending on experience.
