Accounting Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The Consolidation & Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring a true and fair view in the financial statements as per IGAAP and IFRS accounting principle, controlling treasury operations, cash flow management, ensuring indirect and direct tax compliance, Internal Control System, setting up effective System & Process to enhance business effectiveness, Statutory & internal audit and Group IFRS reporting.  Good working relationship with auditors and consultants required.  Motivating and developing the capability of the team is essential. 

Essential Job Functions:

  •  Oversee and maintain day-to-day control of all accounting systems to ensure the complete and accurate recording of the financial transactions and processing of financial data in accordance with internal procedures in ERP environment and in compliance with statutory laws, regulations and accounting standards.
  • Ownership of ERP system and its improvements as per evolving business and statutory needs
  •  Support departmental heads in decision making on various transactions.
  •  Participate in the formulation of the accounting policies / strategies / procedures & implementing the decisions in the department.
  • Oversee drawing of financial statements and Reporting in compliance with IGAAP/IFRS requirements.
  • Generate MIS to meet the requirements of the business facilitating management decisions
  • Ensure compliance, constant review of internal control systems and bring about improvements as per evolving business need
  •  Ensure management of clean Statutory and Internal audits
  •  Ensure compliance of all statutory provisions
  •  Ensure system development and maintenance for safe keep and easy retrieval of financial records.
  •  Act as a key point of contact for Shared service function; ensure compliance with SLA agreement and high standards of services provided. Minimize duplicate work and help determine necessary action plans
  • Responsible for Structure costs budget, Estimate, Actual variances & accruals
  •  Responsible for Cash Flow & Credit & Collections

Experience and Educational Requirements:

 

  •  Qualified accountant with 6-7 years’ relevant work experience, ideally with a multinational FMCG/ manufacturing company. 
  •   CPA required
  •  Experience in driving transformation projects in a fast-paced environment, strong commercial understanding and IT system knowledge is plus.

  •          Communication and negotiation

Demonstrated ability to:

  • Be a team player that motivates. educates team members and constantly raises the bar
  • Comprehend technical accounting, tax compliance, internal control system and process improvement requirement
  •  Improve system and process to enhance organization effectiveness through cross functional collaboration and alignment

Other or Special Requirements:  Expectation of travel is:  No more than 10%
