Valenzano Winery has developed a reputation as a leader in east-coast winemaking and viticulture; a reputation that has allowed us to grow into one of the largest distributors of east coast wines. Currently sold in over 700 retail locations, Valenzano Winery is seeking hardworking, dedicated individuals who are able to find new markets, develop new relationships and grow sales in existing retail locations. We are looking for individuals who aren't afraid of a hard days work, and who are looking for a long-term career with a growing wine company.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage existing accounts throughout the state of NJ.
Solicit new accounts.
Scout wine festival and retail wine sale opportunities.
Set shelves for product, POS and wine racks.
Maintain lasting relationships with large, medium and small clients.
Maintain log of sales efforts ensuring a minimum 45 hour work week.
Promote product and distribute POS via social media.
Requirements:
~ Minimum 2 years experience in the wine industry.
~ Sales experience.
~ Charismatic personality with strong work ethic.
~ Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis and be able to bend, squat and climb and lift repetitively.
~ Must have flexible schedule and be capable of working many weekends during special events and festivals.
~ Moderate understanding of Microsoft word and excel and understanding of social media.
~ Must be willing to be on the road 45+ hours per week (we are not looking for call-in order takers)
~ Must always pay attention to details - a cover letter explaing why you are a good candidate for this job is required when applying.
