You will likely not be collecting a salary or bi-weekly paycheck; you will be your own self-motivated, self-driven boss because you will be a partner. However, because this is a start-up and cash-flows will be tight, we can likely make employment arrangements for Ranch work should you be willing.
This is why I believe the best suited applicant may be a seasonal minded retiree, vastly experienced employee seeking change, or ambitious young entrepreneur who lacks the resources to go on their own.
I am a 5th generation farmer/rancher in south central Montana, located near the picturesque resort and Yellowstone Park gateway town of Red Lodge Montana. I currently do not have any vines, crops, or viticulture experience. Land however is not an issue; should this venture be successful, growth is unlimited. I have Ag-Business, Finance, and Entrepreneurship degrees from Montana State University as well as work history as an agronomist and precision ag technician, but I know only very little about making wine.
As we work together, I would be able to source the capital for investment, provide the land, some equipment, sales & marketing, distribution, and financial management.
