New York City wine & spirits shop is looking for an experienced retail sales person! The Retail Sales Associate has a variety of responsibilities ranging from assisting customers in-store, on the phone or via e-mail, with selections and recommendations. Overseeing orders from incoming to outgoing, answering phones and emails, stocking shelves, packing boxes, assisting with customers, tastings, working with enomatic tasting machines and more. Must be quick on your feet and quick with your wit!
We are looking for PART-TIME candidates, with possibility for full-time in the future. We offer a generous employee discount, fun work environment, as well as an opportunity to further your wine education.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of wine & food pairings.
Spirits knowledge.
Solid understanding of retail industry -- specifically customer service focus.
Clear and confident communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a small team dynamic, as well as alone or unsupervised.
Attention to detail and accountability are critical.
Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lb boxes.
Stand on your feet for a good portion of the shift.
Schedule flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays (it is retail after all!)
