Work with our Distributors and Brokers to grow sales through all channels. In addition to having a great attitude and work ethic, you must be proficient in all levels of distributor management with an in-depth knowledge of all business channels (on premise, independents, national accounts and chains). The successful candidate will have strong sales force and key account relationships, as well as excellent skills in wine marketing. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Work closely with distributors and broker network to execute distribution and brand building initiatives.
• Monitor, manage and report information, including sales history, goals, projections and forecasting for each market.
• Identify market opportunities within each channel and brand.
• Educate distributor personnel, brokers and key account customers on McNab brands and wines.
• Work with accounting to ensure distributor budgets remain fiscally responsible.
• Create pertinent, well thought out, entertaining sales presentations to help convey McNab’s goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
• College degree preferred
• A minimum of 5-7 years of field sales experience, preferably in the alcohol beverage industry.
• Self-motivated and able to follow through on projects quickly while paying attention to accuracy and detail.
• Written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Outgoing, social and capable of engaging people and willing to work hard to understand and meet customer needs.
• Proven success establishing and nurturing productive relationships with colleagues, management and key customers.
• Sold computer skills required, (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
• Capable of multitasking and managing several tasks at once.
• Excellent planning, organization and follow up skills are required.
