Cellar Positions Available
There are two positions available one is a seasonal harvest job and the second is full time year round.
Cellar Position available: Primary focus is wine production and emphasis on
bottling.
Cellar Operations (50% of both positions)
•All tasks from harvest to bottle in the production of wine based on work orders
•Sanitation and cleaning
Bottling Operations (50% of one position)
•Sanitize, run, and maintain bottling line for all bottling
Qualifications:
Must
-have an eye for detail and cleanliness
-be team oriented, reliable and possess a positive work ethic
- be able to work safely around equipment, electrical outlets and chemicals
- be able to read, understand, complete, and perform duties listed on work orders
- be able to drive a forklift
-be mechanically inclined and able to make minor repairs
- be able to lift, pull and carry up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis
- be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors in English
-have flexibility with scheduling and willing to work some long days. Will require overtime and
weekend work during harvest and as needed to meet production needs.
-have basic reading and writing in English and some math ability is required
-have high school education or equivalency (required)
-have cellar experience (required)
-be able to work long periods standing up and ability to walk extended distances including repetitive movement
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has the potential for minimal supervisor duties.
Compensation:
This is a full time hourly job with periodic and seasonal overtime required. Hourly rate is negotiable and depends on experience. Included in the benefit package are an IRA (with company matching), vacation, holiday, sick time, insurance, and cost of living based wage increases.
