Position Overview: This role is responsible for driving volume and profit growth in the assigned territory by utilizing a consultative selling approach and effectively supporting the accounts. The Sales Representative will call on all assigned accounts on a weekly rotation basis, introduce new product lines as available, maintain strong customer service relationships, deliver product as needed and resolve any issues.
Essential Job Functions:
• Achieve sales revenue and growth targets for the assigned territory
• Develop sales plans to identify new sales opportunities
• Call and personally visit accounts to meet or exceed customer expectation
• Deliver sales presentations
• Place customer orders and maintain accurate records of the orders
• Work closely with Credit department to resolve invoice problems and ensure prompt collection of payment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Proficient in complex selling strategies
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and be accountable for results
• Ability to learn in-depth brand and product knowledge
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Ability to travel 75%
• Enthusiastic team player
Education/Experience/Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry
• On Premise experience
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
