WINE SALES – ACCOUNT MANAGER

Wines of the World (WOW) is hiring a sales representative/account manager for the Tampa/Sarasota area.

WOW is seeking to employ honest, reliable, personable and technologically savvy individuals. Candidate must be able to work independently, and is motivated to succeed in a highly competitive market.

An ideal candidate is a fast paced, energetic, people-person with the ability to create and grow strong relationships with clientele.  Candidate should be an extremely hard worker with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive.

Prior experience in the wine or food & beverage industry is required.

Strong wine knowledge and experience is a plus, not essential – the ability to sell is essential. A capacity to push oneself, in order to grow in a highly competitive market, is critical.

Existing connections and contacts in Restaurants, Bars and Liquor Stores is highly valued.

We are not a massive company selling a portfolio of standard big brands. We are a small yet fast growing start-up company looking for hard working, aggressive sales people with the desire and skills to build brands and grow with our company.

 

Requirements:

 

• Wine or food & beverage industry

• Reliable transportation

• Cell phone and computer/Internet access

• Exceptional computer literacy and email writing capabilities

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Proven sales experience

• Good understanding of territory/sales account management

• Positivity and courtesy in all situations

 

Duties:

 

• Maintaining established accounts with goals of increasing sales

• Establishing relationships with new customers from a significant potential customer base

• Making impactful presentations

• Managing a growing sales territory
