THE ROLE
We are seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial sales/marketing manager, based in Tampa Bay, who will manage our wine portfolio and motivate the team to achieve outstanding sales success while building lasting business relationships across the Caribbean.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Motivate a team of sales professionals
- Analyze industry trends and develop strategic plans to capitalize on growth opportunities
- Conceptualize and implement marketing programs within allocated budgets
- Analyze sales data and other statistics to support and direct the sales department
- Prepare and monitor the fiscal forecast for the sales team
- Facilitate and participate in training/educational sessions
- Represent the company in industry organizations and events
- Work closely with vendors, keeping them updated on developments with their brands
REQUIREMENTS
- Sales and marketing experience in consumer products
- A Bachelors degree or MBA with a focus on Marketing or International Business
- Energetic and self motivated with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
- Ability to inspire and lead a team to achieve set goals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically as well as execute the details of specific sales projects
- Strong analytical & computer skills with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
- Industry experience and knowledge of domestic and international trends
- Fluency in Spanish and/or French is preferred
