Top Shelf Wine & Spirits, a boutique wine, spirits and beer store located in Sugar Land, Texas, is committed to providing the highest level of customer service in the wine and spirits industry within the Greater Houston area.
We are currently looking for a passionate individual in the wine and spirits industry to serve as part-time customer service specialist whose duties will include cashiering, receiving and stocking merchandise, and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• A minimum of one year of cashiering experience mandatory, including a basic knowledge of math and computer skills
• Prior experience in receiving/stocking preferred
• Must possess outstanding customer service and communication skills, and be comfortable around the public
• Must have high initiative with excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask in any given situation
• Self motivated, with the ability to work both independently and within the team framework
• Performs all duties as assigned by the manager
• General knowledge of wine, spirits and/or beer preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Availability to work opening and/or closing shifts as scheduled, including Saturdays, and to occasionally participate in special events
• Must have (or be able to obtain) a TABC sellers permit
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently complete sales using POS registers, while being able to handle all cash, check, and electronic payment procedures
• Creates a welcoming environment for all customers and insures a satisfactory experience
• Projects a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
• Receives deliveries from vendors and processes invoices into the POS
• Other responsibilities include, but are but limited to, stocking and cleaning
Salary information: $8-10/hour - DOE
