Lorbert Imports, LLC has an immediate opening for a Wine Sales Trainee.  This is a full time, entry level position with the company in the St Louis Metro area.  Duties include: 

·      Managing and developing existing accounts. 

·      Responsibilities include working with retail clients to monitor inventory and take orders.   The Sales Trainee will also be required to deliver orders and should be capable of picking up and carrying a 40 lb case of wine.

·      The person filling this position will be required to support ongoing marketing efforts with clients by conducting wine tastings 2-3 times per week.   Some evenings and weekends will be required.

·      Following successful completion of the training program, the individual in this position will be expected to prospect and open new accounts.  

The successful candidate will be a self starter and will be able to work independently.  The candidate should have an interest in learning about wines from around the world.   He/She will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and will own their own computer and printer.   One must also have a cell phone and a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.   Successful completion of a Bachelors Degree is a requirement. 

Compensation includes a base salary with an opportunity longer term to also earn commission on new sales. Benefits include paid vacation and sick leave.
