Mountain-top winery seeks Accounting Manager.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for performing general bookkeeping, payroll, journal entries and preparing financial reports. Our close-knit group likes a keen eye for detail, accuracy and a fun personality. The customer service gene is important.
Job Duties:
• Payroll Processing
• Accounts Payable
• Cash Receipt entries
• Inventory reconciliation
• Wine costing – tracks cost for cased goods
• Prepare journal entries
• Month End closing, run financial reports
• Year End closing processes
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Discretion - Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Computer-based accounting software is required
• Team player
• Strong Excel skills required
• Winery and AMS experience very helpful
Cain Vineyard & Winery is located on Spring Mountain, approximately 20 minutes from downtown St. Helena, and 30 minutes from Highway 12 in Santa Rosa.
Salary dependent on experience. Excellent benefits including 401(k).
