Oz Wine Company, a well-established distributor and importer of fine wines from around the world, seeks a Sales Representative to join our team. We have a great reputation for selling our thoughtfully curated portfolio of wines, and our growth has been explosive since incorporating in 2000.  Our passion is wine, and we are looking for someone with the same passion.

 

This position will be based in and encompass the South Shore, Buzzards Bay, and Cape Cod territories of Massachusetts.

 

Successful candidates must live in this territory, and have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the wine and spirits industry as a sales rep for a wholesale wine distributor, retailer or supplier. You must have strong selling,

organizational, and communication skills, and an exceptional wine knowledge. You must also have a reliable car, a MA drivers license, and be a MA resident.

 

The Job and Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Forming relationships and building distribution in both on and off premise accounts throughout the assigned territory.

 

  1. Maintaining strong relationships with established customers, while growing incremental placements.

 

  1. Cold calling in both on and off premise accounts to establish relationships and further market penetration.

 

  1. Provide exemplary sales and ongoing customer service for all accounts, in addition to supporting accounts with wine tastings, dinners, events, etc… 

 

  1. Attend monthly sales meetings, annual portfolio tastings, and other company events.

 

  1. Be able to lift 45 lbs.
