Basic Job Responsibilities
• Supervises field crews, tractor drivers and irrigators
• Ensures field crews complete daily tasks as assigned
• Supervises irrigation
• Provides tailgate safety meetings and pesticide training
• Prepares appropriate pesticide reports
• Communicates any problems or issues to the Vineyard Ranch Manager
Knowledge of:
• Vineyard management practices in day to day operations
• Farming equipment
• Irrigation practices
• Common vineyard diseases and pests
• Pesticides and other farming chemicals and their use
Experience and Education
• 5 years experience in vineyards
• 2-3 years supervisory experience
