Red Car Wine, a Sebastopol, CA based winery, is looking for a Vineyard Equipment Operator to assist in farming and equipment operation in our multiple vineyard sites in the West Sonoma Coast region of Sonoma County. This is a full time, permanent position with health insurance.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
1. Vineyard tractor operation including spraying, mowing, etc.
2. Transporting equipment from site to site.
3. Spreading compost
4. Involvement with irrigation and fertilization
5. Attending vineyard management meetings and working under the direction of supervisor.
Prior tractor operation experience is a must along with the ability to work a flex schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays during the growing season.
