Small Vines Wines is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Cellar Master for our brand-new facility just outside of Sebastopol. The cellar master will work with the assistant winemaker and the consulting winemaker performing daily duties that include, but are not limited to:
• Perform all toppings, sulfuring, racking, and transfers of wine
• Set up bottling and filtering
• Maintenance of equipment,
• cleaning and sanitizing
• Help manage interns during harvest
• Operate all crush equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
Ideal candidate:
• Loves physical work, is a team player, and excited about making wine.
• Has 2+ years of premium winemaking experience
• Has a strong work ethic with the desire to learn
• Is detail oriented and be able to fulfill tasks unsupervised
• Is forklift savvy
• Has effective communication skills and is able to communicate in English
