The Wine Trust is immediately seeking to expand the sales force in Washignton and Oregon

We are a boutique, rapidly growing direct importer and wholesaler focused on quality-driven producers across the entire price spectrum. Our curated portfolio includes artisan family producers offering exceptional quality-for-the-price wine as well as a library of iconic, name-brand producers from the greatest old world regions – including many with bottle age (as opposed to current release). We strive to distribute in a relationship-driven approach whereby we listen to our customers and exceed their expectations as a fine wine distribution partner.

Ideal candidates likely possess:
• Passionate, enthusiastic fine wine knowledge; formal education certifications are a plus, though not mandatory
• Ability to confidently articulate The Wine Trust’s relatively unique attributes – including boutique distribution approach and all-fine wine book
• Ideally, but not mandatory, active rolodex of wine purchasers/sommeliers
• Sales know how, including drive and persistence to open new accounts as well as maintain existing customer base
• Ability to work independently while meeting the requirements of weekly meetings and sales reports
• Strong interest in cultivating new prospective target customers, in addition to providing high-level touch and superior service to existing customer relationships
