Sales & Hospitality Lead 
Benovia is an ultra-premium winery that produces exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley and is looking for a qualified individual to join our team. This role is responsible for supervising the day to day operations in the Visitor Center. The primary functions of this position include building brand awareness and enhancing brand reputation, growing sales, providing excellent customer service and exceeding customer expectations. Benovia owners Joe Anderson and Mary Dewane were recently named winery owners of the year by the North Bay Business Journal and continue to receive high accolades for the Benovia wines. 

Job Requirements:

•  Supervise and ensure day-to-day functions are satisfied in absence of Manager 
•  Responsible for all opening and closing duties 
•  Responsible for hosting tastings and completing sales 
•  Schedule & host customer visits and VIP experiences 
•  Uphold a high standard of luxury and superior customer service 
•  Maintains attention to achieving monthly sales and membership goals 
•  Create and support a positive and respectful work environment, leading by example
•  Assist in monthly inventory counts & reconciliation 
•  Re-order All Visitor Center supplies under supervision of manager 
•  Resolve Customer service and order issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
•  Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls, emails and other inquiries 
•  Acts as lead person for order processing and fulfillment
•  Maintain Visitor Center printed collateral such as tasting menus, order forms and product sheets
•  Assist with extended outreach programs under supervision of manager 
•  Assist and collaborate with onsite and offsite event planning, coordinating & executing as needed 
•  Assist with all aspects of customer service; inbound and outbound, club, e-commerce and Visitor Center orders. 
•  Represent winery at offsite events 
•  Maintains a professional and high standard in all areas of the Visitor Center, including customer service and hospitality

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age and have the ability to lift and carry 45-50 lbs
Experience in luxury product sales and hospitality or customer service 
Excellent communication and accuracy in data entry 
Professional appearance and demeanor 
Able to work flexible hours, including weekend, holiday and evening 
Flexibility to manage changing priorities with enthusiasm 
Ability to work well in a team environment and with a positive attitude 
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook 
Bachelor’s degree preferred 

This is a full-time position with benefits. The position will report to the Director of DTC Sales.
