Paul Lato Wines has an opening for an assistant winemaker who will be responsible for quality control, organizational management and related winemaking activities. At Paul Lato Wines we are dedicated to the limited production of the highest quality wines. As a boutique winery with production approaching 5,000 case, we specialize in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but also make smaller lots of Syrah, Grenache, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our production is limited, single vineyard wines of artisanal quality from mostly organic and biodynamic vineyards.

Duties include:
- Assist in supervising all day to day cellar operations, including harvest, barrels, bottling preparation, sanitation, and cellar organization and cleanliness.
- Provide winemaking technical support to the Winemaker.
- Supervise grape receiving, crushing, pressing and wine production operations during harvest.
- Prepare work-orders, assists in data management, as well as wine inventory.
- Responsible for the quality, safety and execution of work performed.
