RESPONSIBILITIES

TASTING ROOM

Schedule staffing in Tasting Room(s)

Working in TR

Help to hire new TR staff

Inspiring TR staff to increase sales and generate positive experience for all guests

Heading up events in TR

Maintaining an ambience in the TR that speaks of Storrs insistence upon excellence

Develop new employee booklet

Train new staff

 

VIN EXPRESS, wine club

Increase new club membership by 50%

Meet the needs of new and continuing members

Increase retention of members

Help to coordinate shipments

Help to choose wines for shipment

Head up retention, appreciation and revenue-generating events for membership

Improve member experience during winery visits

 

MAIL ORDER

Grow winery e-commerce business by 50%

Make sure that website, and especially webstore, is up-to-date at all times

Fulfill mail order

Maintain inventory of mail order supplies

File & pursue claims, etc with direct shippers when goods damaged

Make sure that recipients receive new orders when their original is damaged or lost

Process mail orders received via phone or in person into Nexternal system

Oversee direct shipping compliance and work to maximize compliance achieved

 

GENERAL

Answer phones

Answer consumer questions

Take mail order requests by phone

Manage inventory quantities at multiple locations so as to be able to fill DTC and wholesale orders shipped from winery
