We are currently hiring for a Store Manager and this is an excellent opportunity to join a tight knit team with great company culture, while pursuing a career in the wine, spirits and beer industry.
 
The Store Manager will help ensure the smooth and efficient operational procedures within the store, enabling the highest level of customer service. Must be passionate about service and delivering above expectations for the customer and must be independently productive, self-motivated, and have proven leadership ability. This position requires wearing many hats and having a can-do attitude is a must.
 
The Store Manager is expected to exceed delivery and expectation all of the Sales Associate responsibilities and to lead other employees in the completion of store responsibilities and projects, ensuring all employees remain productive with their respective goals.
 
This is a full-time position that requires working opening and closing shifts, with weekends and holidays a must, 40-50 hours a week, depending on the needs of the business. Key Retail Responsibilities:
 
• Greet customer on sales floor, phone or online, and assists in determining make, type, and quality of merchandise desired.
• Provide an educational experience for the guest when purchasing wine, spirits or beer - ensuring that customers receive exemplary customer service.
 
Key Management Responsibilities:
 
• Perform administrative duties such as:  scheduling, payroll, bank deposits, general store maintenance.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
 
• Prepare weekly TB w/GM to discuss to-dos, sales and orders, upcoming events or initiatives, while keeping track of weekly/monthly/yearly goals. Participate and occasionally lead weekly team meetings.
 
• Responsible for assisting management with posting of social media content:  Instagram, Facebook, Email campaigns.
 
• Create a marketing plan, giving buyers and employees appropriate timelines for submission of content and approval from DofR.
 
• Continually build Store SOPs manual for all primary functions of business, working with the individual employees in development.
 
• Responsible for the management of all club member accounts. Receiving, maintaining and processing of club subscriptions across all channels:  POS, Excel, Email lists, Google Drive, Account folders and check off lists. Display a consistent evaluation for process and efficiency while driving enrollment and revenue.
 
• Have a complete understanding of back stock organization in all categories, ensuring that product is well organized, safely stored and properly rotated.
 
• Manage a list of store supplies and maintenance to-dos, ordering of supplies, and cleanliness of the store.
 
• Develop weekly to-do’s for store and other staff in conjunction with the management.
 
• Develop and improve the organization of office and business related materials. Create filing system for completed orders, price books, computer/physical files, educational materials, etc.
 
• Responsible for assistance in meeting or exceeding budgeted Revenue and COGS goals while maintaining healthy inventory management. Assist the DofR in annual inventory reports and procedures.
 
• Assist in maintaining accurate online inventory on all partner websites (Banquet, Postmates, Drizly, PlumpJack Wines, etc) Audit weekly to add new items and delete/hide items with 0 inventory. Ensure all online orders are completed within 24 hours.
 
Job Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience
• Knowledge and passion for Wine, Spirits & Beer
• Retail management experience highly preferred
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, stand for 7-8 hours at a time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to sell product in a fast paced sales floor along with answering phones and emails
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Email Marketing, POS systems, Google Drive,
• Reliable, organized, efficient, courteous, professional, team player
 
Physical Demands: 
•   Able to stand on your feet throughout work period
•   Possesses multi-limb and eye-hand coordination
•   Able to stand, bend, climb, reach, stoop and lift boxes up to 40 lbs.
