We are a small, family-owned, luxury winery located in Rutherford, CA, looking to hire friendly, wine-savvy individuals to work Part -Time in our tasting room.
The candidates for this position must have an outgoing personality and a professional demeanor. Candidates will be excited to educate our guests about our hand-crafted estate wines. The overall guest experience is of the utmost importance. We want our winery guests to feel welcome when they arrive and enjoy a relaxed, comfortable visit to create a memorable tasting experience. Excellent customer service skills and a team spirit are a must for this position!
Main responsibilities include: conducting tastings, processing wine sales, leading vineyard and cellar tours, promoting and growing wine club memberships, maintaining a clean and welcoming tasting room.
Other general responsibilities include: Scheduling tasting appointments, opening and closing of tasting room, stocking inventory, recycling, assisting with wine club member services, and monitoring tasting room traffic.
All applicants must be over 21 years old, available to work weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
Preference given to those with the following experience:
• Prior tasting room experience
• Computer knowledge and use of POS systems
• Wine Sales, Hospitality and/or Retail Experience
• Self-starter—able to prioritize tasks and multi task when we are busy
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Local Napa Valley knowledge
