Brand Ambassador, Roanoke Tasting Room (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

The Brand Ambassadors will be responsible for describing, pouring, and selling Damn Tasty Beer to guests. They will be responsible for cultivating extraordinary experiences while building relationships and brand awareness in Virginia.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the highest standards for customer service to every and all guests and partners
• Support Market Manager and East Coast Field Marketing Manager through on site and off site education, events, promos, etc.
• Ensure POS offerings are displayed, restocked, and described in an appropriate and exciting fashion
• Perform necessary cleaning and maintenance in all areas of the tasting room including draft system, bar area etc.
• Actively engage with customers
• Responsible for opening and closing duties
• Foster an atmosphere in the Tasting Room that aligns with Deschutes Brewery's Mission, Core Values, and Strategic Vision

What you'll need to be successful:

• Previously experience in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
• Must have vaild VA alcohol serving permit
• Previous bartending or serving experience preferred
• Knowledge and passion for craft beer!
• Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate, and communicate effectively
• Positive attitude
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
