Pacific Rim & Company
Richland,
Washington
At Pacific Rim & Company, we are getting people hooked on Pacific Northwest wines by consistently delivering quality wines, meaningful brands and fresh new ideas. Today our portfolio of brands includes Pacific Rim, Rainstorm, Silver Totem, Unparalleled and Sweet Bliss. We also run a very successful custom winemaking business. The Company is owned by the Mariani Family who also own Banfi Vintners in the United States and Castello Banfi in Italy. Our main winery is located in Eastern Washington, with our corporate office in Portland, Oregon. The first Vinmotion wine was under the Pacific Rim brand and was a Dry Riesling made in 1992. The portfolio of Pacific Rim’s Rieslings was expanded in the early years (Sweet Riesling, Sparkling, Single Vineyards etc.…). In 2010 the Company was purchased by the Mariani family and kept as a standalone entity with a mandate to grow and expand the portfolio within the Pacific Northwest. The first new brand launched in late 2010, Sweet Bliss, has been a resounding success. In late 2011 the Company changed name from Pacific Rim Winemakers to Vinmotion to communicate that we are more than Pacific Rim. In 2012 Vinmotion launched Rainstorm, an Oregon Pinot brand to expand on its mission statement in a hot wine category. In 2013 the Company launched Unparalleled and in 2014 the Company launched Silver Totem, its first red wine from Washington State.
