Brand Ambassador (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

The Brand Ambassador’s key responsibilities will be to:

  • Build relationships with distributor reps to drive sales in the broad market

  • Attend monthly distributor meetings and kick off meetings to incentivize our distributors to sell our national brands broad market

  • Work the broad market individually and build relationships with local wine stores and shops

  • Maintain junior level retailer accounts (working closely with our Director or Sales) and prospect the market for additional accounts

  • Meet with buyers and pitch our national brands to junior level retail accounts

  • Perform & schedule in-store wine tastings in major food and drug stores

  • Conduct store visits to ensure that retailers display point of sale marketing materials 

  • Increases customer awareness and in-store sales through customer interaction and selling techniques

  • Build relationships with store managers/ wine stewards – be the eyes and ears of the marketplace

  • Write tasting & store visit reports that summarize demos conducted & interaction with store managers/ wine stewards

  • Provide feedback & photos of all events to Social Media Team to increase awareness of brands via Facebook & Instagram

  • Will cover the South Eastern region of the USA (travel mainly focused in TX & FL but may also include occasional travel to GA, LA, MS, AL, SC and NC).

 

The ideal professional that will join our team:

  • Has previous sales or marketing experience

  • Has wine knowledge or a strong interest in learning about wine

  • Possesses  a “Road Warrior” mentality, willingness to travel and a strong "Hands-ON" approach (position requires approximately 85% travel)

  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and enthusiastic about meeting new people & generating consumer excitement about innovative brands

  • Is organized, trustworthy and has polished and professional presentation skills

  • This is a full-time position with the majority of work on the weekends – days of work are Wednesday-Sunday

  • Valid driver’s license and required to be at least 21 years of age

This position reports directly to the Director of Trade Marketing
