Currently we are seeking a motivated self-starter to coordinate Direct Import Orders from our national distribution network. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
• Data entry of customer orders with a high degree of accuracy
• Distribution of accurate and compliant U.S. Customs documentation to distributors and brokers
• Monitoring the status of customer orders
• Correspondence with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, and PBI Sales Team
• Update PBI’s systems with dates of events, i.e. shipping and delivery
• Prepare orders for billing
The qualified candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in the freight forwarding or import/export industry. A Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills are required. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail are required.
