Leading LI company seeks a dynamic individual to provide legal support to the marketing and sales teams.
Primary duties will include but are not limited to:
Reviewing sales and marketing programs for compliance with controlling state and federal laws. Discuss with counsel and communicate direction to the requesting corporate client.
Search state and federal licensing and excise tax reporting.
Provide support to Compliance Manager for brand and label registration needs.
The qualified candidate must possess excellent computer skills and internet savvy. Excellent research skills, solid working understanding of the state and federal alcohol regulatory code, strong familiarity with the three-tier system and tied house rules will be necessary to be successful in this role. A bachelor's degree and or a paralegal certificate are preferred.
