GENERAL
• Work location: 3700 Mill Road, Paso Robles, CA
• Full-time, exempt position
• Mon-Fri with weekends and evenings for special events as required
• The Marketing Manager reports to the President
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. PLANNING & BUDGETING
• Preparing of brand concepts, annual plans and budgets for all marketing activities in cooperation with President, Director of Sales, General Manager of Amphitheatre and Tasting Room Manager
• Updating of marketing plans and marketing budgets/forecasting
• Managing annual marketing calendar including promotions, events and customer communications
• Creating e-blast and social media concepts
2. MARKETING
• Ensuring Vina Robles brand standards are met in all external-facing communications across all entities
• Coordinating content, design and production of marketing materials for Vina Robles Winery and Amphitheatre including newsletters, menus, brochures, and giveaways
• Coordinating design of packaging including gift boxes and carriers
• Analyzing customer database in order to target and segment audiences for marketing pro-grams and develop strategies to engage consumers and increase sales
• Supporting Director of Sales in designing and implementing aggressive sales and marketing campaigns including effective POS materials for the wholesale market
• Supervising of all e-blast and social media activity
• Supervising website, online business listings and event listings
• Maintaining inventory of POS materials
• Maintaining accolade database, monitoring press mentions and press clippings
• Coordinating Amphitheatre show announcements and production of show marketing mate-rials with promoter
• Preparing monthly marketing report for shareholders and management team
• Managing Marketing Assistant
3. CUSTOMER RELATIONS
• Planning and hosting VIP and media visits
• Coordinating and reviewing external communications
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent
• At least five years of marketing experience
• Experience in the wine industry a must
• Existing network of relevant media contacts a plus
• Excellent computer knowledge, deep familiarity and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite and Photoshop; HTML knowledge a plus
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience in managing external agencies and vendors
• Ability to maintain workflow under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize, work expeditiously and proactively, and follow-through on projects
• Ability to lift 50 lb. boxes as required
