About the Role:
Reporting to a Maintenance Lead and Maintenance Manager, you will be working across all winery facility operations in an overall team of 8, liaising with production and winemaking staff as well as external contractors. This role will ensure mechanical, electrical and refrigeration work orders are carried out and completed within a timely manner and with the highest level of safety, quality and in the most cost-effective manner possible.
About you:
You are collaborative, an effective communicator and have a desire for continuous learning. You're highly motivated, self-managed with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment and able meet deliverables with changing and competing priorities.
You are a journeyman mechanic preferably with electrical, refrigeration and welding experience, but at minimum one of the desired trades, electrical, refrigeration or welding.
Proven facility maintenance background and ability to work both day and swing shifts or if desired to, to work solely swing shift.
Requirements:
• Proven journeyman-level mechanical experience
• Facility maintenance background, preferably with winery experience
• Minimum - one of the desired trades, electrical, refrigeration or welding experience
• Minimum - high school diploma, GED or actively working towards one
• Experience in general maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with initiating, working and completing work orders
• Welding and fabrication - beneficial
• Air and refrigeration compressors and pumps - beneficial
• Spanish speaking - beneficial
• Must be able to work overtime when required
• Must be able at minimum to work both days and swing shift (rotation)
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• High importance on safety as a priority
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Timely and correct administration of paperwork and maintaining logs
• General house keeping
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional work ethic
