Tassel Ridge Winery is seeking local vibrant, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about wine and have flexible schedules, including: week days, special events and weekends in our Tasting Room.
The ideal candidates will be comfortable conducting detailed group tours for guests and can understand the value and importance of creating personal customer relationships. Primary responsibilities include enlightening our customers about our wine; conducting wine tastings that entertain, educate, and delight; and performing gift shop transactions.
Position starts at $10/hour and increases to $12/hour once training is complete.
Attributes that are needed to perform these responsibilities include:
- An interest in wine and a desire to learn about wine by tasting and consuming it with meals
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- An ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
- Team-oriented with the ability to work in an environment that requires flexibility
- Ability to work special evening events
- A professional demeanor and appearance
- Computer knowledge
- Previous restaurant, waitress/waiter, food prep experience
The capability to lift 40 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods of time is required.
