Sales Analyst (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Support national management team through ongoing data gathering, analysis and reporting of sales related budget and market information.

Essential Functions:

• Provide extensive analytical reporting and synopses for sales team, Office Manager, and Regional Vice President (includes: preparing correspondence / presentations and additional support functions as needed).

• Analyze sales data and prepare sales reports, summaries, and presentations as well as impromptu reports upon request.

• Provide back-up support in the area of visit requests and point of sale ordering.

• Responsible for payment, tracking, and management of invoices and budgets.

• Responsible for gathering, maintaining, and reporting market information for areas including, but not limited to, depletions, shipments, and points of distribution. 

• Responsible for data integrity and consistent formatting within ongoing and ad hoc reports.

• Responsible for maintaining technical skills on the appropriate software applications that will provide the optimum level of support.

• Consult with the Eastern Region Team to diagnose & identify appropriate reporting needs.

• Handle special requests / assignments as needed. 

• Conduct project-specific market research & analysis.

• Primarily working in an office environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform assigned duties and responsibilities which may include sitting for extended periods of time and operating office equipment

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, reconciliation, and prioritization abilities / skills

• Advanced level Excel experience as well as strong software skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook. Experience with Cognos 7 and or 10 is a plus. 

• Intermediate accounting skills to maintain budget creation and tracking, payment processing, expense reports, and other reporting functions. Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis and evaluation.

• Able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple tasks and frequent deadlines

• Must be an analytical, organized, detail oriented team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

• Strong organizational, analytical, research, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Four year college degree or equivalent work experience including project management and ad hoc reporting.

• Two+ years researching and analyzing data a plus.

• Experience with Nielsen reporting a plus

• History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
