Sales and Merchandising Representative (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Revive Kombucha is a family owned craft kombucha brewery, launched at Sonoma County California Farmer’s Market in 2010.  Revive’s mission has always been to sustainably produce the best tasting kombucha you’ve ever had, using the highest quality ingredients and innovative craft brewing techniques out there. We develop our own recipes, techniques and cultures and the result is a uniquely delicious, healthy brew.  We’re all about brewing our kombucha with a culture of heart and fun and taking care of the earth and our community in the process.

Revive Kombucha is growing in the Pacific Northwest and we are looking for a dynamic Sales and Merchandising Representative to be part of this exciting expansion. The Sales and Merchandising Representative will ensure appropriate merchandising of Revive Kombucha in stores throughout the Pacific Northwest region. This is a full-time position, based out of either Portland or Seattle, and reports to the Director of Sales and Field Marketing, based out of Seattle.

Responsibilities:

• Merchandise Revive Kombucha products to include stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, stocking and organizing products in coolers and in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.
• Build relationships with store personnel.
• Communicate effectively with Buyers regarding demo dates, distributor orders and delivery schedules, upcoming promotions, new flavors and Open Mic changes.
• Enthusiastically perform demos in stores and at events.
• Actively seek promo opportunities in stores.
• Audit Kombucha sets for general competition skus, pricing and display activity.
• Represent Revive Kombucha in line with the company’s culture and values.

Requirements:

• Must be passionate about health and wellness and seek to be part of a healthy lifestyle brand.
• Experience working in a grocery store to include stocking shelves and working with backstock.
• Sales experience in the natural health or products industry.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to adapt in an ever-changing work environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Customer service experience as well as high standards of customer service
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• At least 21 years of age 
• Possess a valid Driver's License and due to insurance reasons, must not possess a DUI conviction in the last 10 years.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Bending, stooping, and climbing.
• Mental and physical dexterity.
• Repetitive hand and arm motion.
• Unassisted heavy lifting, up to 80lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures (coolers, near ovens).
• Use of box cutters, knives, etc.
• Use of ladders or stools to reach product or supplies.
