Adecco is recruiting candidates who are knowledgeable and passionate about fine wines for the 2012 seasonal Wine Educator positions for the period of May through October. The right candidate will ensure a world class experience for winery guest, by providing courteous service, educating guests about our history, wine production and fine wine appreciation in an intelligent, inclusive and compelling manner. Strong sales background and the ability to thrive in a highly competitive sales environment with defined goals and metrics are a must.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm about the world of fine wines and Napa Valley
- Previous experience conducting tours and/or winery/restaurant experience is preferred
- Refined sales and public relations skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- A genuine desire to help and provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Ability to work in the tasting/retail rooms and achieve sales and wine club goals.
- Ability and desire to work 40 hours a week including weekends and holidays
- Must be 21+ years old
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, move and stack up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions/temperatures
Other Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Competency in speaking a foreign language
- Wine Certifications/Courses
