Staff Accountant (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Napa Wine Company is a family owned premiere custom winemaking facility located in the Napa Valley. We are currently searching for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. 

This position is responsible for providing high quality and timely support to the Accounting and Management team for our various entities. This position performs daily, monthly and annual reporting that requires exceptional time management and accuracy to meet deadlines. The full cycle accounting duties are briefly outlined below. 

•  Accounts Receivable
•  Accounts Payable
* Cost Accounting
* Inventory
•  Prepare, review and analyze General Ledger accounts
•  Month end closing and financial statement reporting
•  Monthly Bank Reconciliation
•  Participate in regulatory audits
•  Assist with projects requested by the Controller and Executive Team

A minimum of five years accounting experience required, preferably in the wine or beverage industry. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics – Great Plains, is desired and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must have the ability to work with confidential information and have excellent verbal and written communication.
