Job Summary:  

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Associate Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Marketing function and its initiatives to maximize guest transactions and revenue, and grow the business. 

This full-time position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing projects and day to day activities, including consumer marketing promotions and initiatives, business analysis, and special projects.  There will be interaction with store general managers and exposure to the entire corporate team. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, results-driven, humble, and willing to learn.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Support the VP of Marketing and overall Marketing initiative as she directs

• Drive strategic development and execution of brand marketing programs, including periodic promotions that drive revenue.  Define promotion metrics and conduct post promotion analysis and highlight key learnings.  

• Manage major projects involving the development and execution of important new concepts.  Help build the product pipeline in support of company growth.

• Create periodic promotional materials and assorted branded materials.

• Support the development of loyalty marketing plans and initiatives based on brand objectives, including demand creation plans for key loyalty customer segments to drive growth, engagement, and ROI.

• As the key Marketing point person for stores, manage store Marketing Liaisons, including execution of monthly store projects.

• Assist with planning and execution of New Store Openings as directed • Manage branded paper products, including execution of ad hoc projects and maintenance of target inventory levels.

• Provide creative Marketing support.  This may include developing brand signage and promotional materials, providing store merchandising support, and materials sourcing.

• Execute website and loyalty app updates as needed, including new stores; maintain online resources including the Marketing Resources site and all brand assets, including logos and collateral. 

• Assist with periodic presentation content and design layouts. • Manage day to day activities which may include customer support and store outreach.

• Conduct ad hoc projects as directed.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:  
• Bachelor’s Degree required – marketing or business major; MBA a plus.

• 5+ years of relevant brand marketing, project management or similar experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including 3+ years of consumer based marketing experience, preferably with experience in multi-unit retail/hospitality.

• Computer and Internet savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite including working knowledge of Powerpoint and InDesign, as well as Mailchimp or similar email marketing platform.  Web design and programming skills a plus.

• Proven track record of project development, execution, and results analysis, with strong project management and analytical skills and accountability of results.  Detail oriented.

• Creative skill set, including basic design graphics.  Possess a “keen design” eye.

• The ideal candidate will have strong follow through and the ability to work effectively as a forward thinking, results oriented team member (anticipates next steps, potential issues, and strategic impact on business).

• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with a high degree of business professionalism.

• Honesty and integrity of the highest level.

• Interest in wine discovery and learning about wine is favored.
