Wine Club Manager
Domaine Anderson, a new winery in the Anderson Valley, California, is seeking a candidate for the position of Wine Club Manager, based in Oakland, California.
Domaine Anderson produces 100% estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Anderson Valley, California. Domaine Anderson is owned by its sister winery, Roederer Estate, Inc.
Position Summary:
•Oversees Domaine Anderson wine club development, sales, and day-to-day operations.
•Executes annual wine club goals including volume of cases to be sold, revenue target, membership acquisition and retention goals.
•Manages expenses budget to best leverage available resources in order to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
•Ensures efficient fulfillment of Wine Club orders, coordinate members programs and keep programming current and engaging for members.
•Manages and insures compliance with all laws and regulations, especially as it relates to all direct shipping regulations in various states involved. Works with third party compliance agent and Director of Administration, as required.
•Provides feed-back to Executive team to develop DTC sales and marketing strategies, and to establish sales targets (that will include annual case and revenue goals) and operating expense budgets.
•Partners with Marketing to develop annual objectives, including increased visibility strategies and brand-building tactics. This may include exclusive level club “VIP” type of experiences and events that drive acquisition and increase loyalty and retention.
Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing preferred
•A minimum of 3 years of experience managing service and sales teams
•Previous P&L management experience
•Winery and/or retail experience required
