Global Wines Distribution is one of the fastest growing wine importing and wholesale businesses in the country!
We are currently seeking multiple entrepreneur-minded salespersons for Off-premise, On-premise & Key-account territories in NYC, Long Island and Westchester. This is a great opportunity to acquire a prime territory!
Responsibilities include:
- Sell our portfolio of wines from around the world to restaurants, wine shops etc!
- Major focus is on opening new accounts in an assigned territory
- Assist customers in selecting wines and building wine lists
- Build strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Learn our wines, train customer staff and clientele
- Coordinate and conduct wine tastings and wine-related events
- Travel to various accounts throughout the day
- Satisfy customer needs through superior service
Requirements for Success:
- Uncompromising honesty and integrity
- Self-motivation and organization
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
- Creativity, original thinking, and resourcefulness
- Possess at least intermediate-level wine knowledge
- Enjoy working on commission and incentive-based pay
- Reliable transportation, auto insurance and a valid driver’s license
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the position to include driving, walking, lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods of time
- Go-getter with verifiable results from previous experiences
