Vintage Wines a member of The Winebow Group a prestigious importer and distributor of fine wine and craft spirit products from around the world, is looking to build a team of Sales Consultants in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. We would be interested in candidates with wine knowledge and sales experience. We also welcome candidates with retail Liquor store experience or Restaurant experience. All resumes will be reviewed directly by our hiring managers.
As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:
1. Forming relationships and building distribution in on and off premise accounts.
2. Maintaining strong relationships with established customers, while growing incremental business in their establishments.
3. Cold calling in both on and off premise accounts, while also being responsible for aggressively looking for new opportunities to expand market share.
Successful candidates will have:
1. 1-4 years experience working in the wine industry at a wholesaler, retail shop, or restaurant.
2. Knowledge of the wine industry essential.
3. Experience selling to on premise accounts in the Northwest Chicago suburbs is preferred.
4. Individuals must possess strong selling skills and excellent verbal communication/presentation skills. Exceptional organizational skills are also necessary.
