Sales Representatives
A Luxury Wine Marketing and Brokerage Company located in Napa, California seeks independent, self-motivated, well groomed and well presented current wine sales professionals to represent our company’s select portfolio. Opportunities are available in both Northern and Southern California.
Job Description:
Expertly and professionally represent our company in the presentation of fine wines to restaurants and retailers in assigned territory.
Acquire new placements and maintain existing accounts.
Meet monthly goals of both placements and cases sold.
Provide various reports as requested
Continually acquire and demonstrate wine knowledge at a high level.
Attend and participate in sales meetings and training programs.
Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all actions, adhering to company values.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE previous wine sales experience.
MUST HAVE established relationships with AAA accounts in good standing.
MUST RESIDE in the territory.
Great opportunity for someone carrying other small portfolios.
Must be a self-starter; exhibit a positive, “can do” attitude with strong goal orientation.
Must act with professionalism, honesty and integrity at all times.
Maintain a well groomed, sales professional appearance.
Demonstrate time & resource management skills & discipline to get the job done.
Communicate with clarity and consistency.
Create good working relationships with customers, co-workers and management.
Cultivate strong supplier relationships,
Exhibit resourcefulness – thinks of new and unique ideas and ways to succeed.
Exhibit strong follow through on commitments; does what he/she says will do.
Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Aggressive Commission-based and expense support.
This is an independent contractor job, you will be issued a 1099 tax statement.
