Dynamic and expanding wine importer and distributor seeks energetic, self-motivated, ambitious, and independent sales rep(s) for Northern Virginia. We are looking for a sales reps to cover the following territories: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Vienna, Falls Church, McLean, Great Falls and Reston. Candidates should possess an enthusiasm for wine, especially wines produced by small, family owned wineries from France, Italy, South Africa and Virginia. The candidate will be responsible for selling our value-driven selections to established accounts (retailers and restaurants), and opening new business. The successful candidate will have solid relationships and experience in wine sales, hospitality, retail, or other skill sets necessary to succeed. The candidate should have a strong knowledge of the market, especially restaurants. The candidate should also possess excellent people skills, be self-motivated, organized and ambitious, and like making sales calls. A considerable amount of cold-calling is required. A car is a must. We are looking for someone who will not only sell the wines, but believe passionately in the mission of bringing hand crafted, authentic wines to the market. We offer excellent compensation, superior back-office support, interface with the wine makers, and the opportunity to represent some of the finest producers in France, Italy, South Africa and Virginia.
