Anderson Family Vineyard organically farms 16.5 acres in Oregon's Dundee Hills. We are a 26 year old, small, premium winery. The owners/winemakers are actively involved in the harvest and winemaking.
We are looking for two or three helpers for our harvest team. This is a seasonal position with work beginning in mid September and lasting as late as early December. A great way to learn, gain exposure and further opportunities in the wine industry.
The ideal candidate is a hardworking and flexible team player. Must be willing to work long and sporadic hours - could be several days in a row followed by days or weeks off. Flexible scheduling is dictated by harvest flow - long days, overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
Previous winery experience not required.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Must be willing to work at times in the wet and be tolerant of typical farm/harvest insects.
Forklift and/or ATV certification a plus but not required.
Basic English required: speaking and reading.
Competitive hourly wage.
You will need your own housing and transportation.
Mostly outdoor work with a small, tight team.
We'll be lifting buckets of grapes, weighing and sorting, moving fermenters and cleaning.
Great site with amazing view.
