Williams Corner Wine, a dynamic and expanding importer and wholesaler of hand-crafted, mostly European wines, seeks an energetic, self-motivated, collaborative and ambitious sales representative for the New York City market. Candidates should possess a contagious enthusiasm for wine - especially those produced by small, ecologically sustainable, family-owned wineries. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of the New York City market – preferably with existing relationships in retail and restaurant. The candidate should possess excellent people skills, enjoy making sales calls and aspire to build sustainable business and enduring business relationships. A considerable amount of cold-calling and determined follow-up will be required.
We want someone who will not merely sell our portfolio of wines, but who believes passionately in the mission of promoting small-scale viticulture and the craftsmanship of independent winemakers.
Salary: base + commission on sales, commensurate with experience.
