Sales Representative (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Golden Ram Imports is seeking a full-time sales representative for the NY-Metro area. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate wine representatives. We specialize in small, terroir-based wineries from Europe with a focus on quality and drinkability. We are growing our portfolio aggressively over the next five years, and will gradually be adding wines from California, Oregon and the rest of the New World. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wishes to get on board with what will surely become one of the country’s great wine portfolios.

Responsibilities will include:

• Development and growth of an account base of both on- and off-premise customers

• Providing post-sales support and excellent customer service

• Meeting annual case and dollar goals as set by Wine Director

• Participating in trade tastings and consumer events

• Continuing education about wine and wine regions of the world

• Working with visiting suppliers as needed and required

• Maintaining paperwork as needed and required

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of proven wholesale wine sales experience in the NY-Metro area

• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Google Apps

• An understanding of the wholesale wine industry

• Above average wine knowledge

• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills

• Motivated, organized, professional and self-sufficient

• A positive attitude

• Ability to lift 40 lbs

Compensation:
