Demontoux Fine Wines, a fast growing company purveying artisanal and organic French wines to fine wine stores and restaurants in New York is currently hiring wine sales representatives for the following territories:

-Manhattan

-Brooklyn

-Queens

-Westchester

-Long Island

-Upstate New York

-New Jersey

 Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include developing new and servicing existing accounts.  Must be professional in appearance and presentation. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player that can work well with minimal supervision. Expectations are nothing less than providing optimal service and follow-up to customers. This is not an entry-level position.

We are open to sales representatives currently representing other portfolios and other territories as long as they don’t compete with ours (no French wines).

 Key Responsibilities:

-Call on accounts (both on and off premise) on an ongoing basis with mandatory follow-up

-Identify and open new accounts

-Ensure sales goals are reached

-Conduct on and off premise staff trainings and in store tastings

-Assist in special events as needed

 Qualifications and Experience:

-Contagious passion and knowledge of French wines

-A minimum of one to two years fine wines sales experience in NY or NJ mandatory

-The candidate shall have existing relationships in the market and a successful prior history opening new accounts.

-Self-motivated and committed to company goals

-The ability to create opportunities and close sales

-Strong sales and solicitation skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Excellent organization skills, accurate and detailed oriented

-Service oriented attitude

-Ability to take constructive criticism

-Must be at least 21 years of age

-Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs

Compensation:

-Very aggressive commission and bonus plan

-Expense allowances
