We are seeking to hire an intern to join our team for 3+ months to learn the ropes of an NYC Fine Wine importing and distribution company. This dynamic internship position will focus on Wineberry’s Marketing/event planning, social media, management of our informational wine database, and assisting/gaining experience in the day-to-day operations of the wine importing/distribution side of the industry.

Qualified candidates should be really interested in/ have some knowledgeable of wine, be super organized, self-motivated, with positive energy, strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude.

 

The Internship Position at Wineberry involves the following:

-Communicating with winemakers to procure detailed information about their wines.

-Reviewing, managing, and building a comprehensive database of detailed and geeky info/tech sheets of each Domaine and wine we import

-Tasting new wines with the Wineberry team to determine growth of Wineberry’s portfolio

-Working with our sales team to create original and informative sales materials

-Developing and distributing annual team newsletters with NYC Wine & Food

-Developing innovative and original sales campaigns to promote specific wines/regions/concepts.

-Reviewing and managing pricing, images, and information of the wine wholesaler site, Sevenfifty.
