Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Assistant Manager for its New York headquarters. This person will report to the Customer Service Manager and be responsible for supporting and overseeing the operations of multiple Customer Service Associates.
Requirements of the job include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing direct reports.
2. Order processing.
3. Answering incoming telephone calls for the purpose of screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.
4. Performing general clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, faxing, data entry, filing, etc.) for the purpose of supporting office operations.
5. Fast and accurate data entry.
6. Working in a team environment and coordinating with Collections and AR to assess whether to release orders.
7. Enjoy working in a fast paced, high volume environment
Experience Required:
1. Minimum 2- years’ experience in an office-based customer service environment.
2. People skills and customer service is a must in this job. Not only will you interact with your employees every day, but you will also need to assist customers when they have questions, concerns or complaints.
3. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
4. Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong organizational, speed, multi-tasking, and planning skills.
7. Flexibility to work overtime is occasionally required. Hours may be somewhat flexible but average 40 hours per week.
8. Experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager preferred.
