Boutique, national marketing & PR firm seeking Account Manager for Spanish and South American wine, spirits and lifestyle clients based in their New York City office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of agency experience in PR/marketing with excellent client communications, Spanish language skills and strong planning and budgeting skills. Beverage industry experience and exposure to international accounts are a plus. Responsibilities include overseeing integrated PR campaigns encompassing consumer and trade programming, and creating digital content for social media outlets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account management as a key member of growing wine, spirits and lifestyle marketing team.
- Creation of press materials, news releases and media pitches.
- Develop and management of digital brand content campaigns
- Budget oversight and account reporting
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Extensive knowledge of social media best practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Creative, enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work well with others
- Demonstrated analytical/conceptual thinking, excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation
- Willing/ability to travel
- Strong Spanish language skills are required
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum three years of PR and/or marketing experience: beverage industry, hospitality and international experience preferred. Lifestyle experience a must.
- Experience multi-tasking with a mix of accounts and/or projects
